Black Soap Mint Scrub is a melt-and-mold scrub made from 1 cup black soap crumbs, 1/4 cup ground oats and 5 drops of peppermint oil, melted in a double boiler and poured into molds to harden. Baraka's African black soap is made by hand at the Konjeihi Women's Enterprise Centre in Wa, Ghana, and gives the scrub its cleansing base, with the oats exfoliating gently and the peppermint adding a cooling feel.
