Shea & Kombo Cuticle Cream
Shea & Kombo Cuticle Cream
Shea & Kombo Cuticle Cream is a simple, nourishing homemade cream: melt 1/4 cup (60 ml) shea butter, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) shea oil and 1 tablespoon (15 ml) kombo butter together, then let it cool. Baraka's shea butter, shea oil and kombo butter are made by hand at the Konjeihi Women's Enterprise Centre in Wa, Ghana.
Shea butter, renowned for its rich emollients, deeply moisturizes and conditions the skin, while Kombo butter, a lesser-known gem, offers a unique blend of fatty acids that promote skin elasticity and suppleness. Together, this buttery duo creates a protective barrier that helps lock in moisture, and many people report that it eases dryness and supports healthy-looking nails.
