Citrus-scented liquid black soap is made by melting 4 oz (113 g) of Black Soap Base in 1 cup (240 ml) of distilled water, then stirring in glycerin and lemon and orange essential oils. Baraka's African black soap is made by hand at the Konjeihi Women's Enterprise Centre in Wa, Ghana.

Instructions:

1. In a heat-safe bowl, combine Black Soap Base and distilled water.
2. Gently melt the Black Soap Base using a double boiler or in a heat-safe bowl over a pan of simmering water.
3. Stir continuously until the Black Soap Base is completely melted and combined with the water.
4. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
5. Stir in glycerin, lemon essential oil, and orange essential oil.
6. Pour the liquid soap into a clean bottle with a pump.
7. Shake well before each use.
