Baraka Kombo Nuts

This was a very special day for Baraka because it meant we were going to impact the lives of even more women in Ghana. You can thank Agnes Amoah for this purchase! Agnes Amoah was one of the first women to harvest the kombo nuts from kombo trees found in her cocoa farm. At first she had no use for the kombo nuts other than the fruit, but after learning that picking and selling kombo nuts resulted in an additional income she decided to get involved. She started picking and selling kombo nuts and quickly got the whole community involved. She realized that most of the fruit falling from the trees was rotting anyways, so why not make extra money out of it!
