Candy Cane Lip Balm

Candy Cane Lip Balm is an easy homemade peppermint lip balm made with Baraka shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax, and it makes a great gift. Many people use balms like this on chapped lips in winter. Baraka shea butter is made by hand at the Konjeihi Women's Enterprise Centre in Wa, Ghana.

Ingredients

• 1 tblsp. of beeswax
• 3 tblsp. of coconut oil
• 6 drops of peppermint essential oil
• 1 tblsp. of Baraka Shea Butter

Directions

1. Melt the beeswax first in a double boiler.
2. Put all Baraka Shea Butter and coconut oil into a heat-safe glass bowl and mix together.
3. Place the glass bowl in a saucepan filled with water.
4. Heat on medium and continue mixing until they are melted and mixed
5. Once melted remove from heat add peppermint essential oil drops and mix.
6. Pour into tins and let cool.
