Strainer & hand mixer To strain the melt and whip to a cloud-like texture

Clean airtight glass jar To store your finished body butter

Directions

Step One:

Melt (5–10 min) — combine shea butter, cocoa butter, kombo butter, and coconut oil in a heat-safe bowl over a double boiler. Once fully melted and mixed, strain and place in the refrigerator until cool and the top begins to harden slightly.

Step Two:

Whip (3–4 min) — blend with a mixer on high speed for 3–4 minutes or longer, until you reach the consistency you want. Optional: add essential oils before the final whip.

Step Three:

Jar (1 min) — spoon your whipped body butter into a clean, airtight glass jar.

Before you start

The cooler it is when you whip, the lighter and fluffier the result — but it takes a strong mixer
Whipped while slightly warmer, the texture is firmer and denser — less air, more butter per scoop
