Join the hardworking women of Konjeihi and others who make Baraka’s products and ingredients and spend 10 days in Ghana with Baraka. 

Make Shea Butter and Kombo Butter.  Participate in a traditional community Durba, eat traditional foods, cook with shea butter, dance, and enjoy authentic cultural experiences. Collect Shea Nuts, eat shea fruit and visit the shea forest in the fruiting season.

Join in the entire process of making shea butter, from helping collect the fallen fruit in the shea forest all the way through to packaging your own hand-crafted Baraka Shea Butter to take home with you. (Check out the entire process on this video)

Visit Ghana’s oldest building, the Larabanga Mosque, a United Nations Heritage site.  Go on a Safari and see elephants, baboons, antelope, warthogs, birds, and more.

Planning is underway and dates will be finalized soon. We are looking at mid-May 2025 so you can participate in collecting shea nuts and can eat shea fruit and the other natural delights of the Shea Forest in fruit season.

The full cost is approx. $4000 USD and includes all hotel, meals, in-country airfare, ground transport, local costs, etc.  $1,000 deposit due on booking. A further $1,500 is due June 30th and the balance by December 31.
