Cocoa Powder
Baraka Cocoa Powder is made from sustainably grown and community harvested cocoa beans. Originating from small-holder farms, the beans are harvested and prepared using traditional techniques.
As our cocoa powder is crafted in small batches, some natural variation in scent is normal. Occasionally, the cocoa mass may have a stronger roasted chocolate scent.
Cocoa powder occurs when the fat, called cocoa butter , gets removed from the cacao beans during processing. The leftover dried solids get ground into the product sold as cocoa powder.
